Befriending Kent is a consortium of charitable organisations across Kent who deliver befriending services to older people with the help of an amazing group of volunteers.
Our main aim is to help to reduce social isolation in older people, therefore, our services are available primarily to older people who have been identified as socially isolated.
All of our volunteers are trained and have undertaken an enhanced DBS check.
All of our organisations either have the Approved Provider Standard with the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (see their link here) or are working towards it.
